The National Autistic Society exists to champion the rights and interests of all people with autism and to ensure that they and their families receive quality services appropriate to their needs. This site is run by members of the South Bucks NAS branch and does not necessarily express/reflect those views of the NAS.

The site is intended as a resource to those families affected by autism, and aims to provide useful information of events organised by the branch in the South Bucks area. We also provide links to local places that we feel are of interest.

The first article provides information about Desborough Play Den, offering weekend play for 5 - 11 year olds.

Sixth Annual Quiz Supper

Our Annual Quiz Supper and mega raffle takes place on Saturday 10th May, 7.30 for 8.00 start at Bourne End Community Centre, Wakeman Rd, Bourne End. There is a large free car park adjacent to the Centre.

This is our sixth quiz supper; those who have taken part in previous quizzes will be interested to know that last years winners are unable to take part this year (they kindly made a donation instead). So we will have new Champions this time.

The quiz is for teams of up to eight but, don’t worry if you have less than eight people as we can make up teams on the night or you can have a smaller team if you wish. So if you are a school, work colleagues, a group of friends or individuals why not come along, its a great night.

The Annual Quiz is one of our main fund raising events. Events like this allow the Branch to hold speaker evenings and to fund leisure activities for families so please support us.Tickets are £8 including a light buffet supper available from Helen or Jeremy Ilic, email c_helenhouse at hotmail dot com or from the Community Centre Office (open weekdays 9.00 to 3.45).

Can we respectfully remind you that The Community Centre (which is also a charity) is a licensed venue, and you must not bring your own drink onto the premises. The Centre bar has cheap prices and is available to anyone attending the quiz.

Donations-If you would like to make a donation (e.g. wine, unwanted gifts) for the quiz raffle/ future fundraising events or work for a company who would be willing to make a contribution, please contact Simone Monk email simonemonk at aol dot com
